Sweet and Sour Chicken

In this dish you can also use pork.

In a few minutes you have got another WOW meal. 
½ kilo of chicken in cubes
– To marinate the chicken:
1 tbsp light soya sauce
1 tbsp rice wine
1 egg (clutched)
4 tbsp corn starch
5 cup oil
– to stirr fry:
1 tbsp garlic
1 tbsp ginger
½ red pepper
½ green pepper
½ onion
1 cup pineapple cubes (tinned)
– for the sauce:
½ cup pineapple juice
1/3 cup ketchup
¼ cup rice vinegar
3 tbsp rice wine
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp soyasaus
1 tsp salt
4 tbsp caster sugar
1 tsp corn starch maizena
Step 1. Take a bowl and mix the light soya sauce and rice wine. Add the chicken and the egg. Mix well. Then mix it with the corn starch.
Step 2. Take a bowl and add the ingredients for the sauce. Mix well.
Step 3. Take a wok and stirr fry the pieces of chicken in the oil for 2 to 3 minutes. Put in just enough pieces to make them swimm and float. When browned set them apart.
Step 4. Take out the excess oil from the wok and stirr fry the garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.
Step 5. Add the vegetable and fry for a few minutes. Then add the pieces of pineapple.
Step 6. Add the sauce and cook it on a low heat for about two minutes (covered). Mix and cook it for another minute (covered).
Step 7. Add the chicken and mix well untill the meat is coated with the sauce.
Step 8. Serve with rice.
