Sunday morning Chorizo and Gorgonzola Bread

This is a very easy quick recipe. Great flavours and wonderful snack.

What you need:
  • 8 slices chorizo
  • 8 slices gorgonzola
  • 8 pieces of bread
  • some basil to taste
How to prepare it:
  1. Heat a pan and cook the slices of chorizo gently, until crisp.
  2. You don't need oil because the chorizo releases its fat.
  3. When crisp, put on a slice of gorgonzola on each piece of chorizo.
  4. Let it melt a bit.
  5. Meanwhile roast the bread.
  6. Dip the bread in the released oil of the chorizo.
  7. Put the chorizo, gorgonzola on the rbead and tip with a bit of basil.
  8. Serve with a rose wine: Enjoy!
