This Kahmiri dish is so tasty and makes livers even better than you expect them to be.
What you need:
- 230 gr livers
- 3 tbsp oil
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 2 cm fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 tsp ground tumeric
- Cut the livers in half
- Heat the pan and cook the onions until transparant (not browned).
- Add the garlic and cumin seeds and fry for 1 minute.
- Add the chilli powder, ginger and tumeric
- Turn the heat a bit and fry the livers for two to three minutes.
- Add 300 water and bring to the boil. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. The livers must be just cooked and the sauce thickened.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Serve with rice.
