Chinese Chicken Thighs with Bull Head Barbeque Sauce


Here is a recipe how to use Bull Head Barbecue Sauce.

What you need:


  • 1 kg chicken thighs
  • 1/4 tsp garlic (powder)
  • 1/2 tsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp five spice powder
  • bit of salt
  • 2 tsp soya sauce
  • 2 tbsp pineapple juice
  • 2 tsp white wine
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp hoisin sauce
  • 2,5 tbsp Bull Head BBQ Sauce
  • wooden sticks

How to prepare it:


  1. Mix all the ingredients, except the chicken thighs
  2. Put the chicken in a freezer bag and add the marinade sauce
  3. Leave it in the refrigerator overnight to marinade
  4. Soak the wooden sticks for 1 hour to prevend them from burning or getting shattered
  5. Put the chicken on the sticks
  6. And barbecue for about 15 minutes on a hot fire.
  7. Then fry in hot oil for a few minutes
  8. And serve whil hot.
