Chicken Tandoori from the Barbecue


What you need:
  • 3/4 litre chicken stock
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp red chilli (ground)
  • 2 tbsp thick (greek or turkish) yoghurt
  • 1 tsp cumin (ground)
  • 1 tsp coriander (ground)
  • tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tbs garlic/ginger paste
  • 2 tsp tandoori chicken masala
  • some dry fenugreek leaves
  • ¼ tsp tumeric (ground)
How do prepare it:
  1. Cook the chicken in 3/4 litre chicken stock untill just finished and let it cool down.
  2. Make some cuts in the meet for the marination.
  3. Mix lemon juice and a some chilli powder and salt.
  4. Marinade the chicken for 15 minutes.
  5. Mix the rest.
  6. Marinade the chicken for about two or three hours.
  7. Put them on a hot bbq and turn some now and then. Ready when nicely coloured.
  8. Enjoy with some red onions and biryani
